Flash Giveaway - Quests of Doom 3 - Print (Swords & Wizardry) - 24 hrs
As I mentioned last night in this post, I'll be giving away some of the duplicates in my Swords & Wizardry Collection over the next few days (as I need to make room for more Christmas Swag ;)
Today we're giving away Quests of Doom 3, in Print, for Swords & Wizardry. I backed the KS and found myself receiving two copies instead of one. Go figure :)
Here's the rules:
1 - I'm only shipping to the US, but anyone can enter. If the winner is randomly picked from outside the states, they will get a $10 RPGNow Gift Certificate and the physical prize gets bumped to the 12 Days of OSR Christmas
2 - You need to leave a comment below to enter. Thats pretty much it.
2a - You could go to last night's post and give some feedback for art choices for Swords & Wizardry Light.
2b - You could go to the Swords & Wizardry Complete 3rd Printing KS and back for a buck, which gives you the rules in PDF and all the stretch goals in PDF (currently Strange Bedfellows, the new cover as an art poster and Deck of Treasure) This also allows you to choose in Print add ons. If you do back, add a comment to the KS page stating to the effect that The Tavern sent you ;)
3 - Your comment must be made prior to 1101 AM Eastern Time, Monday, October 10th, 2016
Good luck :)
edit - obviously 2a and 2b are completely optional ;)

ReplyDeleteI'm in!
ReplyDeleteHello there, love the blog!
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI want this!
ReplyDeleteReally cool of you to do this.
ReplyDelete"... come on, GM needs some new adventures..."
Cool!
ReplyDeletePardon me while I test my luck.
ReplyDeleteThat is very generous of you! Thanks!
ReplyDelete2a. Any of the art by Tyler Walpole, Eric Lofgren, and Andrew Leblanc from the first printing would be great for the S&W lite rules.
2b. Already backing. I've commented several times as Patrick P. in the thread on the KS.
A very nice gesture!
ReplyDeleteI love S&W! Good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's a good series, and I'm sure this one would be great!
ReplyDeleteLet's see if I get lucky this time around...
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for offering this contest.
ReplyDeleteI'm backing the 3rd printing kickstarter, and it'll be the first OSR game I've ever bought in print. I'm really looking forward to running S&W for my friends.
ReplyDeleteCool beans! I'm in.
ReplyDeleteWell, this seems easy enough.
ReplyDeleteI'm in!
ReplyDeleteI think the original artwork for S&W was awesome. I think the green hue and giant skeleton exactly caught the spirit of the old game.
ReplyDeleteAlas, I listened to The Bard as he spun is tales, of those adventurers in quest of riches beyond imagine and who, thus disappeared into silence. I pondered this and thought "Are not we heroes? Surely where those naves failed perhaps we can succeed." Looking at the scrollcase containing the maps and notes that the Bard claimed held the last words of Bartholemew of Raddick, I laid my plans to acquire them in the night...
ReplyDeleteWith a sigh, Merrick realized he had, indeed, accidentally misspelled "Knaves" as he stared at his "mobile scribe's box" with consternation. The brothers who had educated him at the Orphanarium would have beaten him for his failure. It was good indeed then that they had perished in that suspicious fire.
DeleteS&W rules!
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for a giveaway, so here I am. If I win it'll be good for my older daughter, she's a 5th edition player with a 1st edition background.
ReplyDeleteVery cool give away. Crossing my fingers.
ReplyDeleteSergeant Arik Tenker (LN male street dwarf Ftr8; Str 16, Wis 14, Con 18; Insight +5) Though not officially an inn, Tenker is known to let the occasional regular sleep off their night’s fill in the backroom — but only if he likes them. This practice has drawn mild ire from the Innkeepers Guild, but no formal action has been taken yet. [Bard's Gate 5e, FGG, p130-131]
ReplyDeleteI'm interested!
ReplyDeleteObligatory "I hope I win" comment. I've been at the Tavern a little over a year now and I win every day: Daily OSR News and/or tales of fandom are a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWoo!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping!
ReplyDeletecomment.
ReplyDeleteSign me up! Necromancer Games always do a bang up job.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of FGG S&W swag! Excelsior!
ReplyDeleteI'm in (left a comment about the art for S&W Light)
ReplyDeleteCount me in.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Thanks for running the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI never win these things... Tenkar has it out for me!
ReplyDelete@Ordo: Me too! Passes me over every time in favor of one of the (hundreds? thousands?) of other folks who post!
ReplyDeleteOo, I'd take one of those. :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to add it to the collection!
ReplyDeleteI loved Quests of Doom 1!
ReplyDeleteI'll take a shot! Thanks for doing this, S&W rules!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they did an S&W version.
ReplyDelete-Treebore
Can't wait for s&w light. Hope to win some free swag along the way. Thanks for the great blog.
