I got an email last night that the Dungeon Crawl Classic RPG had hit at RPGNow... it was like a late April Fool's joke :(
There was nothing there.
After reading the forums at Goodman Games, it looks like the PDF is imminent, at least for the preorders.
I'm not sure if I'll ever run it, but based on the playtest material there is stuff I'd love to borrow and steal for other OSR games.

I wasn't all that impressed with it.. seemed more cluttered then it needed to be... If I wanted heavy rules I would play Pathfinder.. which I already do.

ReplyDeleteI preordered, so I have it coming to me. I think it may work well for one-shots and there might be some stuff worth stealing for other games (like the new unique monsters)
