I considered Steve (I'll always think of him as Stevil though) a friend even though KenzerCo and I had a bit of a falling out. Steve and I wrote an adventure together and he was a genuine and likable guy, if a bit odd at times. He's gone from us way too soon and his absence will really be felt for those that either knew him or play HackMaster. I'm still trying to figure it all out myself.
