Far West isn't Late (Well, Yes it is but...) There's Still May 2016

To be honest, I don't think ANYONE expected a May 2015 release date for Far West. May 2016? Perhaps. Considering Far West is already 3 1/2 years late, what does one more day, week, month, year mean at this point anyway?

Far West has stood up more gaming nerds when it comes to dates than the 1980s ever did.

If I had a girlfriend who missed this many "release dates" it would be too late to consider an abortion.

Far West is approaching TWICE the gestation period of an African Elephant, and that's only counting the days it's late.

I fly into Dallas on Wednesday and boy, will my arms be tired.

Try the fish!

  1. I'm still waiting on a promised refund check for the Buckaroo Banzai game.

  2. "May 2016? Perhaps."

    Frankly, I doubt it.

  3. Even if this somehow came to fruition and was all it was hoped to be by those who were interested...will anyone care by then? Or will they just be angry/bitter/hostile/etc.?

  4. When he hypothetically finishes it, is it still going to include the same kind of hideous "art"?

    1. Hee hee...what I have seen if so bad and blatantly plagiarized he'd better be prepared for some copyright infringement lawsuits and set aside money for settlements and judgements. maybe there can be a Kickstarter: "Fund My Lawsuit Losses."

  5. I am in it for $150, my wife is in it for $40.
he sent my "art" a while ago and it was embarrassing to look at. he pasted our heads on some generic "kung fu" bodies...but he forgot my neck.
I was a big supporter of his project...hell I was nearly the only person to ask a question at his Gencon Q&A.
I know I will never see any of the items...we might get a PDF but he still won't send the full file to backers (because it doesn't exist?)....but the T-shirt? The town? The custom Adventure?
    HA.
major failstarter and the reason I will never invest heavily into a kickstarter.
