Humble Bundle - Lankhmar (DCC RPG)

Apparently, Goodman's license for the Lankhmar setting is coming to an end, and it's a huge bargain for any who didn't back the Kickstarter years ago. I need to note, this is the ONLY time I can recall suggesting that anyone get the PHYSICAL offering in a Humble Bundle - usually, they are some nearly random "odd or end". NOT this time. This time, the physical offering is the actual Lankhmar Boxed Set, a Hardcover adventure compilation, and the final printed module in the series.

The Lankhmar DCC RPG Bundle is $40 with the printed collection, and $12 for just the PDFs. Perfect for any Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser fans out there.

Bundle of Holding - DCC Lankhmar

I'm a huge Lankhmar fan. I own various RPG iterations of the Lankhmar setting, and I truly believe that Goodman Games via the DCC RPG has the most complete and quality support. I'd be happy to run DCC Lankhmar using the OSR ruleset of my choice - OSE or S&W most likely.

The DCC Lankhmar Bundle once again presents the Lankhmar campaign setting for the Dungeon Crawl Classics tabletop fantasy roleplaying game from Goodman Games. Authorized by the estate of master fantasist Fritz Leiber and funded in a March 2017 Kickstarter campaign, Goodman's Lankhmar line expands the DCC RPG rules to match the tone of Leiber's classic sword-and-sorcery stories. Explore the City of Seven-Score Thousand Smokes, Lankhmar, and follow in the footsteps of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser across the fantastic realm of Nehwon.

For just US$14.95 you get both titles in this revived April 2021 offer's Starter Collection (retail value $47) as DRM-free ebooks, including the massive DCC Lankhmar Boxed Set and the introductory adventure Gang Lords of Lankhmar. We also include the DCC Quick Start Rules.

And if you pay more than this revived offer's threshold price of $25.54, you'll level up and also get this revival's entire Bonus Collection with eight more titles worth an additional $56, including The Land of Eight Cities, A Dozen Lankhmar Locations, The Fence's Fortuitous Folly, Acting Up in Lankhmar, Grave Matters, Rats of Ilthmar, Violence for Votishal, and the aptly titled Blasphemy and Larceny in Lankhmar.

And here's the new bundle:

For just US$17.95 you get all eight titles in our Lankhmar Collection (retail value $71) as DRM-free ebooks, including the 164-page Gen Con tournament module The Greatest Thieves in Lankhmar (retail price $30) and seven adventures for low-level characters (levels 1-3): #6 Cheating Death, #10 Unholy Nights in Lankhmar, #12 Mercy on the Day of the Eel, #13 Treachery in the Beggar City, the short preview module Masks of Lankhmar, and two Goodman releases that include Lankhmar scenarios – DCC RPG Free RPG Day 2016 and the DCC Day 2020 Adventure Pack.

Kickstarter - The Greatest Thieves in Lankhmar: A DCC Boxed Set

I'm a huge fan of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. I simply devoured the Lankhmar series in junior high and the Lankhmar setting book from TSR was one of my earliest setting books. It was probably the first city setting I ever ran with.

Goodman Games produced the Lankhmar setting boxed set via Kickstarter prior, but the new Kickstarter: The Greatest Thieves in Lankhmar literally stands alone. If you don't own the prior Lnkhmar boxed set, it "includes a primer on DCC Lankhmar rules, so you can play it with simply the DCC RPG core rulebook."

The Greatest Thieves in Lankhmar boxed set in print and PDF is merely 50 bucks. I suspect I'll soon own more Lankhmar ;)
From the most famous city in the history of fantasy comes a sword-and-sorcery adventure to test the finest gamers! The Greatest Thieves in Lankhmar is a level 3 Dungeon Crawl Classics boxed set that sends characters into the hot cellars beneath Thieves’ House, across the sooty rooftops of the City of Sevenscore Thousand Smokes, and on to a mad dash through the palace of the Overlord. Featuring design leads Harley Stroh and Marc Bruner with cover art by Doug Kovacs, this boxed set comes with everything you need to run an epic adventure over several sessions, whether you run it as a tournament or as part of an ongoing campaign.

DCC Lankhmar releases in PDF Just 2 Bucks Each at RPGNow

Two bucks a piece for the Goodman Games DCC Lankhmar releases? If I didn't already have them in print I'd be all over this ;)

DCC Lankhmar: Masks of Lankhmar - A level 1 adventure for DCC RPG - A heist gone wrong brings an unlikely group of thieves together and sets off a search for forgotten treasures hidden in the City of the Black Toga! Can our heroes of questionable moral character survive the twisting chase that leads through the Plaza of Dark Delights, crosses paths with Sheelba of the Eyeless Face, and delves into one of the oddest tenements in Lankhmar? Not if the Thieves’ Guild has their way!

DCC Lankhmar: Through Ningauble's Cave - Tread in the footsteps of the legendary Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser! - Through Ningauble’s Cave is the first release in the Dungeon Crawl Classics line of Lankhmar supplements. As we build toward a large boxed set, this “first-look” sourcebook provides DCC RPG judges with all the information needed to journey to the world of Nehwon, home to Lankhmar, the fabled City of the Black Toga. - Through Ningauble’s Gate details the secrets of Ningauble of the Seven Eyes. It includes rules for using him as a patron, as well as information on his fantastic cave that touches multiple worlds. With the material in this book, your players can journey to Nehwon…or have Nehwon come to your campaign world!

DCC Lankhmar: Patrons of Lankhmar - From beneath the Outer Ocean, from out of the depths of the Great Salt Marsh, and from the odd fanes of the Street of the Gods, they come: the Patrons of Lankhmar! With the information contained in this tome, a judge can introduce such formidable beings as the Sea King, Mog the Spider God, Sheelba of the Eyeless Face, and even Death himself into any DCC RPG campaign setting. - This early look at the upcoming Dungeon Crawl Classics Lankhmar line introduces a half-dozen supernatural powers and eerie entities for use in your DCC RPG or Lankhmar campaign. Each power’s entry includes details on the entity and their role in Nehwon, tables for invoking that power’s aid, corruption charts for when things go wrong, and new spellburn possibilities. Are you ready to serve the Patrons of Lankhmar?

A Freebie - Savage Worlds: Test Drive 2015

Since Savage Worlds: Rifts is surging through Kickstarter, I figured it might be a good time to link the Savage Worlds: Test Drive 2015. It's a beautiful piece of work (but don't even dream of printing it out, as you'll use up all your ink) and a fine introduction to the Savage Worlds system.

It also highlights Pinnacle's Lankhmar license, so if you have a soft spot for Lieber, it does a fine job with that too.

Best of all? It's free...
