So, Anyone Find Updates on the Gygax Memorial Fund Site That I Missed?

We were promised that, at the very least, the Tax Returns for 2013 and 2014 would be posted at the Gygax Memorial Fund before the end of last week - assuming the web master had time. Guess there wasn't any time.

Folks are still listed as affiliated with the fund that don't recall being affiliated with the fund. I would have assumed that to be an easy fix.

So, did I miss something? Has it been updated? The responses weren't much in the form of answers but that's what happens when lawyers apparently prepare them.

Do we need a new definition of transparency?

  1. There are several markers that honor Gary Gygax, put in place by his loving family. The marker near the lake, the headstone at Oak Hill cemetery, not to mention Gary Con (the most fitting of tributes). At least, while Gail hides behind non-answers and lawyers, his legacy is preserved and celebrated by those most capable of doing so.

    1. Yes he is Bob as well on so many bookshelves and active gaming tables throughout the World.

  2. I assume at this point the lawyers have taken over and instructed Gail not to interact with you or anyone else asking about the GMF. Alex Kammer pointed out the GMF is really under no legal obligation to post anything, or to communicate whatsoever with anyone asking questions unless they are compelled with a supeona, so figure their plan of action now is to not say anyting and hope it all blows over.

    1. By blows over you mean everyone forgets and she doesn't have to show where the money went..

  3. You can file for all public information under the Freedom of Information Act.....just got to fill out the forms....once that's done you then can make tons of noise with that as a baseball bat for non compliance...

    1. pretty sure they must provide you a copy within 30 days if you request them in writing. no need to go through the freedom of information act. also the IRS has a form just for this issue https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506a.pdf

  4. Sounds like the Ken Whitman/ D20 entertainment business model "nothing to see her, go away unless you are giving me money"

  5. Having seen the mock-up of the memorial, the best thing Gail can do with all the money is nothing.

  6. Is there anything in the pipeline in terms of Gygax's rpg stuff, or is the only thing she has done the canceling of any running licenses?

And yup, I am in to the Marmoreal Tomb, but that has nothing to do with the Gygax estate.
