In the Hopper - OSR Goodness

Damn but I have a full weekend of RPG stuff to get to.  All that and going to the in-laws tomorrow for a birthday party (and we might actually have some snow on the roads for the occasion - lucky me).  Thank God football season is over ;)

I've been looking over Barrowmaze by Greg Gillespie, a very nice looking Megadungeon for Labyrinth Lord.  Hopefully I can get it reviewed this weekend.

There have been a few more Toys for the Sandbox releases from Occult Moon that I need to get to and an under the radar release in the OSR (at least under my radar) of Dungeon Raiders, a free rpg.

I need more time this weekend (and no, I don't get off monday).  Sigh.

Oh, and I may need to pick up Cosmic Patrol.  I've been hearing good things about it in my podcast listening.

edit:  and Trollzine 4 was just released... I need more time damn it!

Reviews on the Back Burner

I think I've got a bad case of The Secret Fire and the over the counter remedies aren't going to cure it.  I need to let it run its course.  Which means there's still a few more bad blog post titles to come.  That being said, I still want to review the following over the next week or so:

The One Ring - simply because it's Middle Earth, and I dig that.

The Complete Tome of Horrors - because I need to spend more time with its awesomeness.

X-plorers - I just got the PDF and I'm waiting on the dead tree.  Old School Sci-fi

Other stuff that has been sitting and waiting for me to get to it, and the Free OSR Game mini-reviews must continue!

The Return to Normality

Greg should be happy. If all goes well, should have a mini-review of Errant posted some time tonight. Heck, if I'm really lucky, I may even get the next part of the Savage Worlds Deluxe review posted tonight too. That part will deal with the powers / spells section of the rules.

Its nice to see things returning to normal. Of course, I need to spend at least an hour or so when I get home demolishing that damn closet. It's getting there. I'm tearing down the "Old School" closet so I can build a "New School" closet. How ironic ;)
