I'm a huge fan of Audiobooks. Whereas my mind is no longer wired to read 2 to 3 novels in a week (I'm lucky if I can hit that in a year these days) audiobook I can devour like candy.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of audiobooks, but damn, they are usually cost-prohibitive. So when audiobooks pop up on Humble Bundle, I'm all over it. Currently, Black Library has a Voices of Heresy Bundle - you can get four titles for as low as a buck, or 23 titles for 18 bucks. Being that a single title can often cost 18 bucks, this is a bargain and a half.

Humble Bundle - Voices of Warhammer 2021 by Black Library (Audiobooks)

I'm a HUGE fan of audiobooks these days. One of the side effects of chemo some 15 years ago was a rewiring of my brain, such that I no longer have the attention span to read the written word as I used to. I've gone from reading some 50 odd books a year to one or two. I can, however, stay focused on audiobooks and audiodramas, and I literally jump on the Black Library audio bundles on Humble Bundle when they drop. I'm a huge fan of the Warhammer and Warhammer 40k universes, and getting the fiction in an audio format at a buck a book is a win-win for me :)

You can snag the Voices of Warhammer 2021 Bundle for as little as a buck for 5 books, but since you can sample them all, I advise you listen to a sample or three for free and see if the format works for you. If it does, 18 bucks get you all 19 books (although admittedly, one is a sampler). At a buck an audiobook, if you enjoy the format you simply can't go wrong.

Humble Bundle - Audio Drama Bundle - Fantasy and Science Fiction

Back in the Way Back, before retirement, when I had a daily commute of 30-45 minutes in each direction, I found myself listening to podcasts and audiobooks / audio dramas. It kept me from listening to the oh-so-many commercials on terrestrial radio, and it kept me clueless to the events of the day, allowing me to commute in blissful peace. 

I'm retired now, and my commute is from bed to my desk and back again, so I don't listen to nearly as many podcasts or audiobooks / audio dramas as I used to, but I always find the theatre of the mind's eye to be more vivid than any movie or even a binge-worthy on-demand series.

My days of sitting down and reading novels are long past. My attention span just isn't what it was prior to chemo over a dozen years ago, and physically reading a book means I can't multitask. But audiobooks? That I can do. As for Warhammer audiobooks? They are like listening to audio plays. It brings an already amazing setting to life. I am listening to the first chapter of Trollslayer as I type this ;)

Humble Bundle - Warhammer / Warhammer 40k Audio Books and Talisman for your PC / Mac

I've long enjoyed Warhammer and Warhammer 40k fiction, but I lost my ability to concentrate for a long enough time to read most novels these days. Audio books though? They work well for me, but they are often expensive as all hell. The Black Library - Voices from the Worlds of Warhammer Humble Bundle has just bestowed up me a library of audiobooks and audio dramas for months of listening. Huzza!

Then we have the Warhammer Humble Games Bundle. I'm in for 7 bucks because I want Talisman and Bloodbowl II. I'm on a Mac, so the other games won't work for me. Ah well.
