I Took Pics of my Swords & Wizardry Collector's Edition Boxed Set and Contents

So, yesterday I shared a quick pic of the box of the new Swords & Wizardry Collector's Edition Box.

Well, now I've opened the box and yes, the contents are impressive - and pretty :)

I will say the dice are eh, but I wasn't expecting Gamescience.

I'm sure the bookmark will be misplaced very shortly.

The character sheets look really good as well as useful.

I'm very happy with the goodies enclosed. Now to dig through the books and look for new material.

  1. The question, for those poor among us (me!): is it worth buying if you have the S&W book already, or is it more of a collector's thing?

  2. Oooh. You sprang for the woodgrain box. When I backed, there were no more early-bird specials for that version, so I ended up with the regular version. Haven't gotten it yet, but what I've seen of the regular box set cover looks cool too.
