The Tavern Chat Podcast - E129 - ShireCon 2018 and How to GM for a Con RPG Session

I'm beat. Not even 9 PM and I'm ready to crawl into bed. ShireCon 2018 write up tomorrow here on the blogside.
Today was the ShireCon #1, and it was a blast. Huge props to Thom Wilson. I ran a game of Swords & Wizardry Light today and I discuss on this episode my thoughts on running a successful convention RPG session.

  1. Want to thank you again for an amazing time at Shirecon today. I hope to do more suicidal things (such as crit failing my way down a dumbwaiter) again soon!

    1. LOL! "Meant to do that!"

Thanks for making that session hilarious, good sir.

  2. Had a great time at the con, and was wonderful talking with you and your wife, even if it was all too brief.

  3. Got home just after 11, thanks to a dead battery delay (props to Thom Wilson, Jeff Talanian, AAA, Arnold's Garage in North Canaan, CT, and the help of several Con-goers and Falls Village locals for their help). I pulled the sleeper couch out and am going to live on it today. :)

Thanks to everyone involved for making it a great day and it was especially enjoyable meeting you, Erik, and your lovely bride.
