Tenkar's Landing Crowdsourced Sandbox Setting has Over 90 Community Members

Yep, Tenkar's Landing Crowdsourced Sandbox Setting has over 90 community members and over 50 hexes claimed.

In a week.

With some hexes already being detailed.

F'n amazing.

I'd like to publicly thank everyone that's participating in the crowdsourcing but especially +Milton Murphy , who quickly stepped up to help keep the herd of cats orderly. Everyone participating in the project, myself included, are in your debt.

I'm now in the second half of a four day weekend and I expect to finally expect to catch up on the hex entries from the last few days, sinus congestion from hell willing. The progress is amazing and I thank you all.

  1. Damn... The little composite map I did up to track which hexes had been detailed is the topper of a Tenkar post... *sniff* I've made the big leagues... ;-)

  2. And those of us with a hex on your map get to ride your coattails. Awesome!

It is really cool how everyone is working with the owners of the hexes around them to come up with consistency between hexes.

    1. Agreed. It's been a fun collaboration with several 'friendly neighbors.' Seeing a lot of different interpretations and styles in the milieu is always fun and inspiring..

    2. Puts me in mind of old maps of the same area by different people: coastlines vary, common features appear in different places, distances are off...and each is accurate.

  3. Very cool. I had an idea for one near some others, too, today.

  4. What is the map scale? 6 miles to the hex?
