They've already released the core 3 AD&D 1e books back in July. The 3.5e books should be hitting shelves now as the release date was September 18. Unearthed Arcana looks to be next it line. WotC is doing a fine job milking the reprint cash cow, but what should be next?
Foe me, I'd like to see the D&D OCE Boxed Set reprinted. I already have a copy, but a reprint would be nice. Maybe the Moldvay Basic Set. These are pieces of gaming history, and it would be nice to see them re-released.
They should be played, not collected and gathering dust (like most of the surviving original copies)
What would you like to see?

Rules Cyclopedia
ReplyDelete2e!
ReplyDeleteAnybody?
*crickets*
Becmi boxed sets with errata. Although i love the RC, the sets are more accassible, readable, and more fun to read.
ReplyDeleteuh i forgot the mystara GAZ-series...
ReplyDeleteThe original box set of LBBs.
ReplyDeleteMoldvay BX or the BECMI boxed sets in a compilation. I love the Rules Cyclopedia, but hate the layout and art.
ReplyDeleteWarhammer Fantasy Roleplay first edition.
ReplyDeleteThe other little white box.
Dragonlance: Fifth Age
ReplyDeleteWhat?
Cyclopedia.
ReplyDelete@ Paul WFRP 1st ed did come in a white box? Uh?
Rules Cyclopedia because it's the only version of TSR D&D I've never owned and it's too bloody expensive trying to win a copy on Ebay.
ReplyDeleteG and D series modules.
ReplyDeleteRULES FREAKING CYCLOPEDIA!!!
ReplyDeleteEither the GAZ series, or B/X.
ReplyDeleterules cyclopedia
ReplyDeleteLBB or the original boxed BECMI sets
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to see the Cyclopedia in print, as it's my favorite D&D. "In Search of Adventure" would be nice as well, as a sort of old school sampler plate.
ReplyDeleteLBBs + Sups & Rules Cyclopedia
ReplyDelete2E core.... Spelljammer.... Planescape...
ReplyDeleteB/X D&D with the Otus covers intact...
Fiend Folio 1st edition!
All of it, really...
I'd love to see reprints of the Moldvay/Cook/Marsh B/X or the LBBs. Rules Cyclopedia or the 2E core books are more likely, though, as they would be easier to publish.
ReplyDeleteThe LBBs, the four supplements, and Chainmail. Ideally as a single boxed set. I actually expect that they will probably do this in 2014 (the 40-year anniversary).
ReplyDeleteSecond, the Cyclopedia. And the GAZ, HWR, and PC supplements. And Wrath of the Immortals. (Plus maybe a new product collecting material from the Voyage of the Princess Ark articles, such as the revised territory economics and the other societies).
