Patreon Highlights - Jim Magnusson and his "The Lost Monster Manual" Page Postcards

I wish I could remember how I first came in contact with +Jim Magnusson , but I can't. I do know it was related to The Tavern and art. I can say that one day Jim pretty much pulled up to the virtual bar and said - "I'm here. What do you want me to do?"

I love Jim's work. It's tight with just a side of insanity.

The postcards are really cool. I like to imagine the look on my postal carrier and he sorts the mail for delivery ;)

I support Jim at an insanely high level, but I like having the influence. The dwarf on the right? That was done with me in mind. The next one coming up might have to do with "ducks."

You can't go wrong with "The Lost Monster Manual" Page Postcards. Jim's work can also be seen in some of the releases by +Tim Shorts of the Gothridge Manor blog.

The full list of Patreon Projects I support is here.

  1. We first met when I joined some tavern contest. I guess I then have you to thank for my work being shown outside sweden in the first place.

  2. Yeah, I'm on the waiting list to take over your place as "King", Erik.

Such sweet postcards that leak into my designs. His mushroom king is making its home in the Mega Delve.

  3. That middle picture looks like a Tripod from the Tripods trilogy. Now that would be something to add to a gonzo D&D world.
