Right off the bat, this is from David Baity, one of the nicest creators in gaming. Oh, and he's a huge cst-person, just saying ;)
Weird Frontiers, a weird west RPG powered by the DCC RPG engine, is literally in two volumes if you buy it as POD. So yes, a Weird Frontiers Reference Guidewould be very useful ;)
You asked, and we listened! The latest addition to the Weird Frontiers product line is a much-needed resource that compiles all the things you regularly have to go flipping through the book for! Keep the game going smoothly with this must-have resource!
Folks - David does a raffle every Christmas season to help stray cats. As a cat person myself (my current feline daughter walked in our back door just over four years ago), I've always been a big supporter of David. Well, that and he writes some damn great games! :) Tenkar

I wanted to update the raffle/shirt/cup thing today to make it shareable, and also update on the remaining items. First off, if you're just seeing this I am raffling off the last remaining case of original print Weird Frontiers RPG books. We found them while digging for Christmas decorations, and I figured I'd do a raffle to help some local feline rescues. These books are hard very to find (check E-bay prices!) and their raffle is going for a great cause.
Each dollar donated gets an entry in the raffle for 4 standard cover books and 1 leatherette (the unicorn) copy. The drawing is 12/17 at midnight by someone way cooler than me (Yes, they do exist. No, it's not sasquatch)
I also have a very limited quantity of Weird Frontiers shirts (2-XL, 2-L, 4-M, 4-4XL) and engraved tumblers (WF/DCC/MCC) for $30 shipped inside the USA. The purchase of a shirt and or cup will also get you an entry for each buck you spend! If you want one of these items please message me ahead to make sure I still have them on FB or e-mail me at stiffwhiskerspress@gmail.com as they'll probably go fast.
Please help me by sharing the post as it really does help some good folks who do good things for the whiskerkin!!

Trailhand! We've resurrected our October 2022 Weird Frontiers Bundle featuring Weird Frontiers from Stiff Whiskers Press, a standalone Lovecraftian horror-Western tabletop roleplaying game based on the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG from Goodman Games. In an alternate 1865, cultists of Nyarlathotep brought on the Seven Days of Night to awaken long-dormant Elder Gods. Now, heroes with extraordinary abilities stand against an ever-growing evil in a wounded country still recovering from the bloodiest war in American history. You can turn tail or take the fight to the night, and you ain't about to be called yeller! Saddle your horses and clean those irons, 'cause there's something slithering across the dark frontier, and it's dead set on making vittles out of you and your ragtag posse.
For just US$5.95 you get all three titles in this revived offer's Starter Collection (retail value $23) as DRM-free ebooks, including the massive 908-page Weird Frontiers RPG corebook, the Trail Map, and the Weird Frontiers Judge's Screen.
And if you pay more than the threshold price of $17.99, you'll level up and also get this revival's entire Bonus Collection with five full-length Weird Frontiers modules worth an additional $50, including Dig Three Graves, The Malevolent Seven, Nest of Snakes, Never Swallow the Worm!, and Not So Fast, Billy Ray!

I don't usually do a second post covering the same Kickstarter, but I think this is an important one to highlight as I'd like to see it fund on Kickstarter (and I believe it deserves to fund, as I've read it already thanks to the author and it presents the myths and legends and history with respect).
Massacre Grounds is a funnel and setting material for Weird Frontiers, the DCC RPG engine weird west RPG. Grab your EXTRA funky dice and dive into a setting based on real-world myths and legends of Arizona history.
You can snag the Massacre Grounds Kickstarter in PDF for 10 bucks, print plus PDF for 15 bucks (plus the actual cost of the POD, approximately 4 bucks).
The story is a combination of local Arizona history and campfire stories from my own life experiences. In the cowboy way, I have added my own tall tales and a healthy amount of new content for the Weird Frontiers Core Rulebook. Players will interact with NPCs that are some of the colorful characters from my life and characters that are based on the history surrounding the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. PCs will also visit historical locations that surround the mountains.
The premise of the adventure starts with a group making the journey from Phoenix (on foot) to Fort Righteous, in the Arizona Desert. They are responding to an ad in the local paper advertising jobs and possible land opportunities. The PCs quickly learn that the desert is a dangerous place. Fort Righteous introduces the group to a whole community that follows the Righteous path. After the fort, the group is further introduced to the dangers of the Arizona Desert, as well as some of its beauty and wonder. The characters are given a chance to tame a wild part of Arizona history, a mustang.
As the story develops, they are introduced to many new personalities. The group will investigate the murder of two local miners and be exposed to the supernatural. The investigation will lead the group to the first run-in with the evil band called the Coyoteros, and the ensuing battle will lead the characters to their first interaction with the Yavapai Apaches and the new chpáya rider class. After interacting with the Apache warriors, the group will have an option for further interactions with the supernatural or to head to the Colossus Outpost. Once they arrive at the outpost, the characters are introduced to a local mining operation and several new personalities. The group is asked to join the Arizona Volunteers to fight against evil forces that are threatening the area. The story climaxes on their first mission and introduces the group to a new villain—a hermit who has been consumed by evil and controls the dead. The characters will have to confront and battle Roscoe the Recluse.

As always, full disclosure. I met Matt (the project creator) this past June at NTRPG Con. Aside from both of us being retired LEOs, we obviously shared our passion for RPGs. Matt talked about his upcoming adventure for Weird Frontiers (Massacre Grounds) and it sounded like a blast. So, here we are :)
Matt's Kickstarter is Massacred Grounds for Weird Frontiers (for those that don't know, Weird Frontiers is a Weird West Genre RPG power by the DCC RPG engine). Massacre Grounds is a funnel (God, I love DCC funnels way more than I should) for about a dozen zero-level PCs, so essentially 3 to 6 players if you do the math ;)
The Pitch: The story is a combination of local Arizona history and campfire stories from my own life experiences.
In the new class, PCs will ride bears, mountain lions, or wolves. Each animal has its own characteristics. The chapáya rider class is compatible with other Weird Frontiers adventures. It can easily be converted for use with DCC (Dungeon Crawl Classics) and MCC (Mutant Crawl Classics) adventures.
The new monsters are based on the effect the Seven Days of Night had on the Arizona Territory. Cholla cactuses are dangerous in the Arizona Desert, but the new rattlesnake cholla is flat out deadly. I added a lot of normal critters that are found locally. Since you are playing Weird Frontiers, I added the un-dead versions of many animals as well.
PDFs for Massacre Grounds are 10 bucks, PDF + Print is 15 (plus 4 for the POPD on the DTRPG side) and 50 bucks gets you all the above and an online game with the author. Limited slots for the last, so if it interests you, don't wait too long!

An exciting new adventure for the Weird Frontiers RPG, also compatible with the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG.
I'm a huge fan of David Baitey's Weird Frontiers DCC RPG-powered weird west game/tome. I believe the book is even larger than the DCC RPG rulebook, but David nailed it. I got to play in a Weird Frontiers scenario at Shire Con and Rach and I, and the rest of the table, had a blast. I just have no inkling as to how to WRITE a Weird Frontiers adventure.
With Last Stop, Perdition! I'll have a 50-ish page 1st-level adventure to run for my regular gaming group. Win-win if you ask me.
This Kickstarter goes to fund a PDF and POD (print on demand) run of the module Last Stop, Perdition!, written by Steve Bean. This will be a 50 page level 1 adventure for Weird Frontiers and is compatible with DCC and includes a new character class, fantastic interior art by Marcin S, Christopher Torres, and Zohn D, cartography by Davin Kluttz, and a cover by Steve Kane. When we make the base level of funding ($8k) a PDF and POD version of the module will be available as well as a few levels that offer original art. PDFs and PODs will be delivered through Drivethru RPG, and with the PODS, the backers will need to pay the print cost of the book (about $3 at the time of this going live) as well as shipping. If we make the $10K threshold, everyone that backs at the Hero of the Weird West level (the Print and PDF level) and above will receive a traditionally printed module instead of a POD. At this level, shipping will be charged through Pledgemanager, but there will be no additional charge for the printing of the book. If we meet our last stretchgoal of $12K, a second full module will be included in both the PDF and print versions! This second module is called Mountain Devils of Muddy Creek and was written by Lee Neilson.

If you know David Baity and you should, it's likely because of his DCC RPG engine-powered stand-alone weird western Weird Frontiers RPG. You may also know David from his yearly Stray Kitty Benefit Raffle.
This year, David is still supporting stray kitties, but this year he is offering 20oz tumblers/ cups with DCC/ MCC/ Weird Frontiers logos with the proceeds helping a kitty in need. I'm simply adding bandwidth.
Heya folks! I won't be doing the annual charity raffle this year to raise cabbage for local feline shelters, but Joseph Goodman was kind enough to give permission to add DCC & MCC logos along with Weird Frontiers to have a limited run of 20oz cups made for charity.
100% of profits from sales go directly towards helping feline rescues in my hometown. You guys know how dear the felines are to me, so this is my way of helping those who help them. Once the cups are gone they're gone, so please consider making one or more of them a present under the tree for your favorite gamer and helping a cat or kitten in need.
The easiest way for me to set this up is by a direct PayPal link and set a shipping included price of 35.00 for each cup. If you know of anyone not on FB that might be interested please let them know I'm selling them. Upon payment, you'll be asked to provide type/quantity/shipping address
I'll begin mailing cups as soon as boxes arrive this weekend and continue until they're gone.

I backed the Weird Frontiers RPG Kickstarter and received my copy earlier this year. It is a beautiful beast of a book, simply oozing with atmosphere and playable content. I must say I am truly surprised and pleased to see this available on Bundle of Holding, as Weird Frontiers should be in as many hands as possible.
Howdy, trailhand! This all-new Weird Frontiers Bundle presents Weird Frontiers from Stiff Whiskers Press, a standalone Lovecraftian horror-Western tabletop roleplaying game based on the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG from Goodman Games. In an alternate 1865, cultists of Nyarlathotep brought on the Seven Days of Night to awaken long-dormant Elder Gods. Saddle your horses and clean those irons, 'cause there's something slithering across the dark frontier and it's dead set on making vittles out of you and your ragtag posse.
For just US$9.95 you get all three titles in our Starter Collection (retail value $45) as DRM-free ebooks, including the complete 908-page Weird Frontiers RPG core rulebook, the Judge's Screen, and the Trail Map.
Nest of Snakes adventure for Weird Frontiers - And if you pay more than the threshold price of $20.18, you'll level up and also get our entire Bonus Collection with five complete adventures worth an additional $50, including Never Swallow the Worm!, Not So Fast, Billy Ray!, Dig Three Graves, The Malevolent Seven, and Nest of Snakes.

I’m a big fan of Tenkar’s Tavern, and one of the things I love about this guy is that he keeps up with those that don’t follow through on their KS campaigns.
While I’m a year late on my own, the book has doubled in size and has quite a lot of additional products involved and Weird Frontiers is about to reach the fulfillment stage, so I thought it would be nice to offer Far West backers a deal on the PDF just in case you still have an itch for something weird and western! For 72 hours you can use the link to snag 50% off the PDF!
