James Spahn Holds First 3 Spots on RPGNow's Hottest Titles List

In all my years of blogging and covering RPGs (especially Old School RPGs) I don't recall a writer ever holding the top three sales spots at RPGNow.

This evening, +James Spahn has the honor.

James is one of the authors of The One Ring - Ruins of the North and the writer and publisher of White Box Treasures and White Box Companion, both for Swords & Wizardry.

Now I need to work on reviews of James' two White Box releases...

  1. Go James! I am glad to see some White Box love, my personal favorite of all OSR games.

  3. It's all about the White Box. Well I think Beyonce should get these honors.

  4. I had no idea it was the same guy, I enjoy all three immensely.

  5. The additional classes in the companion are note-perfect for White Box and I wish it had been available when I started my campaign. Based on the quality of that product, I'm sure I'll end up getting the treasure supplement as well.

  7. Reminds me of the April 1964 Billboard singles charts during Beatlemania.

  8. I'll be curious to read the White Box supplements and see how they compare to Salvatore's White Box Heroes, Goblinoid Games' White Box Companions, and Brave Halfling Publications' White Box Options supplements, content-wise.

  10. Sorry, I should have referenced Gonlinoid Games' Original Edition Characters, not OE Companions. I was mixing up the titles.
