I have never loved a game more. The idea of storytelling just spoke to me in ways nothing else has or ever will, and vampires as bad (or at least immoral) guys instead of "oh woe is me" imbiciles was just as cool as ice.Loquacioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01667591498679385934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724254580047847936.post-14794923067190580272011-05-04T18:48:37.550-04:002011-05-04T18:48:37.550-04:00We tried DF down this way and it just did NOT work...We tried DF down this way and it just did NOT work... not enough people wanted to have a "shared vision" and that much interaction with each other.Loquacioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01667591498679385934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724254580047847936.post-14866716184016684792011-05-04T16:47:12.901-04:002011-05-04T16:47:12.901-04:00I picked up the Dresden Files too, but I am not su...I picked up the Dresden Files too, but I am not sure if I would like running the Fate system. I do like the two source books. Right now my current crop of gamers have not read the Dresden Files, and until they read the source material, I think getting into the game might be a bit impaired. Belgarath used to be my favorite wizard until Harry Dresden came along.Padrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05722958681098483324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724254580047847936.post-37337954256945810392011-05-04T16:29:44.026-04:002011-05-04T16:29:44.026-04:00This comment has been removed by the author. This comment has been removed by the author.Padrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05722958681098483324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724254580047847936.post-11392714484817154272011-05-04T14:36:24.652-04:002011-05-04T14:36:24.652-04:00When you game the game, it's no longer fun......When you game the game, it's no longer fun...

I like FATE on paper. It was one of those systems where I struggled to feel comfortable. That, and I was playing with some guys capable of grand bullshittery, so they wheedled and cajoled their way into tapping damn near every Aspect on their character sheets.christianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09650456794111980661noreply@blogger.com
