All new characters begin with 20 dinars and receive a bonus equal to SOC x10.<br /><br />I know the Chargen process is organized different from other games; that's because the emphasis is different. Players decide what they want to play FIRST (class), then motivation in order to conceptualize the character. Playing your desired concept is (from my POV) the most important thing.<br /><br />@ Hex:<br /><br />The setting is really split over all three books, but there's a workable overview at the end of Book 1.
