The (Virtual) Dice Shall Roll High Tonight!

At least I hope they will.  I've been rolling like crap the last few sessions of the Fantasy Grounds / Castles & Crusades game I play in and Tenkar has taken a beating.  It's all good tho, we always have a blast playing.

ENWorld has a thread going about VTTs.  Some folks are just dead said against them.  Me, I love 'em.  How else would I get to game on a Saturday nite and still get quality time in with the fiancee?  Win / Win if you ask me.

Wish me luck.  I got my ass handed to me last session by giant slugs ;)

  2. I dislike them, I have enough Digital Distractions in my life. I don't want PCs, Cellphones, and other Connectivity Devices at the table, either, honestly. I want Face Time, people. ;-) Of course, if the only way a friend(or friends) could play(for whatever reason) was through an Internet connection, I'd make an exception. It's an issue of unwanted(and largely unnecessary, imo) encroachment to me. Something is lost through 'virtual' gaming, I feel. Up to, and including 'Dice Rollers'(with exceptions based oneed, as usual.) And there are worries that Virtual Tabletops will became default for play, no doubt. YMMV on all this.

I'm glad this system works for you! That's what I think VTTs are for, personally. Those who have no other options.

  3. Well, I'm sure if I tried hard enough, I could find a gaming group, but the time of play, day, game system... all would have to match.

    I'm picky like that ;)
