  1. I backed The RPG Coloring Book and asked about pdf's, they said that they will provide them to backers who request them. :)

  2. Have you given up writing your blog? I've no time to listen to another gaming blog and had enjoyed your written posts. Now I see headlines that look interesting but find I need to download and find time to listen to your blog. Thus, I'm about to give up on your site. Which I'm bummed about as I was a loyal reader. Just can't be a loyal listener.

    1. The Podcast is in addition to the blog - except for my time at NTRPG Con a month ago, you get at least one post daily in addition to the post sharing the podcast, often more.

So, still posting daily and now podcasting daily.

While there is a large overlap between the two, obviously not everyone that reads the blog listens to the podcast, or visa versa. If I could find effective and cheap transcription software for OSX i'd add a transcript to each post, so those prefering to read could do so. Still looking...

  3. Yeah, but my problem is exemplified by this kickstarter pod. I want to know about the kickstarters, but as I explained don't have the time to listen. The podcasts seem to have the more interesting content!

    1. I've posted about some of these Kickstarters already - Tuesday is KS day on the podcast where I do a round up of covered KS and some that would probably not make the blog as they don't have enough going to justify a post on their own, but as a one of seven on the podcast they get a mention.

I've been blogging for over 9 years now. Haven't missed a day in over 5 years. Don't plan on going anywhere. The podcast is an additional format to reach a larger audience - and its been more popular than I had ever expected.

Still, the podcast supplements the blog, it doesn't replace it.

I blog daily, I podcast daily, I participate in The Tavern's Discord Server and the Facebook Community throughout the day, each and every day. For gratis, because I truly love what I do.

As for time to listen, I try to keep each episode at 15 minutes or so (interviews may go over) because to be honest, I don't have time to listen to longer podcasts in one sitting myself, and those that want a longer listening experience can easily binge a few episodes together.

Again, if I could find a good transcription app for my Mac I'd certainly give it a try.

    2. You do a fantastic job with your blog and the podcast, really less of a critique then a wish I had the time to absorb all your good work!
