The Indiegogo That Got Up and Went - Angels, Daemons, and Beings Between: A Patron Sourcebook for DCC RPG - 2 Years and Waiting

I'm beginning to wonder if Sean posed for this

Hookers and blow?

I don't know.

I have the PDF and it is good. Heck, the PDF is still being sold at RPGNow.

As for the print copies of Angels, Daemons, and Beings Between: A Patron Sourcebook for DCC RPG? Never got mine.

Looks like few if any got theirs.

and the last update from the end of 2013 -

  1. The upsetting thing on this one is Daniel, Paul and I poured a lot of hours and effort to make this book happen.

  2. Is it possible he turned the physical copies over to a 'distributor' who then took the money and ran?

Supposedly, something like that happened with a dice KS I was in on...

    1. he says he shipped them - over a year ago

US Postal sucks, but not that bad

    2. Well, my point being maybe he turned them over to another party to do the actual shipping, making him look like a chump when they didn't ship and kept his money, and he can't face the music. That music to _me_ would be letting everyone know, reprinting the books, and shipping them out myself.

I hear that fund-raising draws a lot of opportunists that will 'help you' with various aspects of your campaign, but they're just scam artists bilking folks.

This doesn't absolve him, but maybe puts the situation in a slightly different light (i.e., he didn't _set out_ to defraud anyone, he's just doesn't know what he's doing).

Based on his posts on the GG forums as this project was taking shape, he seemed enthusiastic, but clueless/inexperienced. Thus I didn't not jump in on the fundraising.

  3. Wow, I was kicking myself for missing the Kickstarter for this. I love the PDF; guess it turns out I was lucky I didn't throw away good money on a nonexistent print copy.

  4. I bought the PDF... should just do a private printing of it @ Lulu.

  5. The PDF is good...unfortunately I was one of the (idiot) Patron of Pesh Joomang so I not only didn't get my physical copy but I also never saw any of the additional content I was promised: special dm's screen + bonus magic item section, detailing 16 new items + poster + t-shirt + game box with unique art + two additional modules + bonus patron "Pesh Joomang" the greatest patron of them all, not included anywhere else.

But I got over it long ago. Except I hope no one buys this stuff so Sean doesn't get even more money.

  6. I received The Revelation of Mulmo module just before x-mas 2013, but not the main book.

The envelope he used was the cheapest POS I ever saw, it was torn open, USPS rebagged it inside of a clear plastic bag.

Email about the book, no response to the emails & USPS had no info on the "lost" book.

  7. I'm still waiting for my print copy. Multiple emails went unanswered. I never even got the pdf.

  8. I got TWO copies of the book, but none of the extra adventures. Shipped off my second copy some time ago to someone who wasn't as lucky.

I do feel terrible for Daniel, David and Paul, who did such fine, thankless work.

  9. I got my copy, and I live in Brazil!
